Rev Anthea Ballam
Rev Anthea Ballam is a committed full-time interfaith minister. She believes that funerals should be healing, inspirational and special, that weddings should be loving and joyful and any baby naming and blessing ceremony that's fun can only be right. Her background as an author and journalist means that she writes a lot of personalised prayers and ceremonies as well as meditation scripts for workshops and ceremonies. Her meditations and visualisations are used to help people deal with many different kinds of illness, as well as debilitating treatments like chemotherapy.
Anthea is a passionate environmentalist, and Secretary of the Brighton & Hove Interfaith Contact Group, which represents the City’s faith groups and their interests, focusing on peace, harmony and interfaith dialogue.
